Amazon Pay Authorization Fee

The $0.30 authorization fee is included in the total transaction fee and is collected when the transaction is successfully processed or when a successful authorization that has not been captured is closed or expires.

Amazon Pay Cross-Border Processing Fee

When you receive payment from a payment method issued outside of the U.S., Amazon Pay will collect a cross-border processing fee, in addition to the authorization fee and applicable taxes. The cross-border processing fee is only charged when the transaction is captured.

Refunds of Transaction Fees

In the event of a refund, the following transaction fees are eligible for reimbursement:

  • The domestic processing fee (e.g., the 2.9% fee)
