Helium 10's Inventory Management tool is one of those features you didn’t know you needed until you actually start selling at scale. It’s part of the Helium 10 suite (yep, the same one I talk about all the time because I’m a Helium 10 Seller Solutions Hub Partner, I write for their blog and I’ve been on their podcast).

What does this tool do? In short: it keeps your inventory under control so you don’t mess up your sales, rankings or your peace of mind. It tracks what’s in stock, forecasts when you’ll run out, sets alerts so you don’t forget to reorder, and even helps create POs when it's time to restock.
This isn't just about setting low-stock alerts. The tool lets you define reorder points, quantities, and track inbound FBA shipments. That means fewer out-of-stocks and fewer panic attacks when you realize your best seller is about to hit zero.
Besides all that, Helium 10's Inventory tool gives you a ton of juicy metrics. Sales trends, profitability, stock coverage, reorder dates… you name it. This stuff helps you make decisions based on data, not just vibes.
Why is it important?
Look, inventory management isn’t sexy. But it’s a core part of the game. If you mess it up, you’ll either be overspending on storage or losing sales because you ran out of stock. Both situations = pain.
This tool is especially useful if you’re juggling multiple suppliers or warehouses. You can configure lead times, warehouse settings, and track each step in your supply chain. It’s like having a logistics assistant that doesn’t complain or ask for raises.
Benefits of Helium 10 Inventory Management
Centralized inventory control
Everything in one dashboard: inventory levels, sales data, reorder alerts, performance metrics… all in one place.
Automatic reordering
Set reorder points and quantities, and boom — the system takes care of the rest. No more late-night “oh crap, I forgot to reorder!” moments.
Forecasting that's actually useful
This is where it gets spicy. Based on your real sales velocity, the tool estimates everything:
- Days of supply based on FBA, local and inbound stock
- Sales velocity
- Reorder date & units needed
- Inbound & local inventory
- Updated forecasts so you’re not flying blind
On top of that, it categorizes your SKUs:
- Urgent restocks (you’ve got 7 days or less)
- Upcoming restocks (8–14 days)
- Open POs and costs
Pro tip: If you're managing both FBA and your own warehouse, make sure to set different lead times and reorder buffers. That way, you’ll avoid overstocking your local warehouse just because Amazon is running behind on check-ins. It's a trick I've shared with clients — and it saves a ton in storage fees.
Multichannel friendly
Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify. All under one roof. Great if you’ve got listings everywhere.
Barcode scanning
You can scan products to update stock. Super handy if you’ve got a warehouse or prep center doing the grunt work.
Cost insights
The tool tracks what your inventory costs you. That includes storage, reorder, shipping, etc. So you can stop guessing your margins and actually know them.
Works across 14 marketplaces
Used to be US-only. Now it also works in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, UAE, UK, and the US.
Integrations
The tool plugs into Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Shopify, plus stuff like QuickBooks, ShipStation, etc. So if you’re running your ops with multiple tools, this one plays nice with the rest.

Review
I’ve worked with a ton of Amazon sellers and this is one of the first tools I recommend when the catalog starts growing. If you’ve got 10 or more SKUs and you’re trying to juggle stock manually, just don’t. You’ll save hours every week — and probably a few grey hairs — by using Helium 10’s Inventory Management system.
As a Helium 10 Seller Solutions Hub Partner and guest author on their blog, I’ve had the chance to test this tool in real scenarios with clients and for my own business. It’s solid. And Helium 10 keeps improving it constantly, which is more than you can say for a lot of tools out there.
Pros
- Real-time forecasting based on actual sales velocity
- Alerts for stockouts, reorder, transfers
- Multichannel support
- Detailed breakdown of each SKU's inventory status
- Works in 14 marketplaces
- Syncs with accounting and shipping software
Cons
- Not a fit for Vendors (Seller Central only)
- You’ll need to set it up properly or the forecasting will be off
- The interface isn’t flashy (but it works)
- Some features are locked behind higher-tier plans
Our score
- Number of features
- Pricing
- Learning curve
- User friendly
