Helium 10 seller assistant

Helium 10 Seller Assistant was a Chrome Extension created to make your life easier by automating the Request a Review process directly from Seller Central. It was like hiring a personal intern that only had one job — ask for reviews — and nailed it every time.

Oh, and by the way: I'm a Helium 10 Seller Solutions Hub Partner, regular guest author on their blog, and I’ve even dropped by their podcast. So yep, I know a thing or two about this tool 😉

Key features

This little extension's main superpower was the Request a Review functionality. One click. That’s it. Whether for one product or your entire catalog, it sent a review request on your behalf. If you sell on Amazon, you know reviews are pure gold – more reviews = more conversions. Period.

Right now it only supported Amazon US, but there were plans to go global with support for marketplaces like Mexico, Canada, UK, Spain, Germany, Italy… basically everywhere you’d want to sell.

Benefits

Using Seller Assistant gave you some clear benefits:

  • Efficiency: click once, send a review request (bulk or single).
  • Better Conversion Rates: more reviews = better social proof = more sales.

The problem

Here comes the sad part: Helium 10 discontinued this extension. Yep, it’s gone. Toast. Kaput. So if you’re trying to find the download button, sorry buddy — it’s not gonna happen. But don’t panic. I’ve got alternatives for you below 👇

PRO TIP: If you're already using Helium 10, go to the Follow-Up module. You can set up automated review requests and even time them based on shipment or delivery events. It’s way more flexible than the old Chrome extension and it covers both product reviews and Seller Feedback.

How to use Seller Assistant

I made a full tutorial on how it worked back in the day. If you're feeling nostalgic or just curious, here you go:

Alternative: Jungle Scout's Review Automation Chrome Extension

If you want something similar, Jungle Scout has their own version of this tool: Review Automation Chrome Extension. Same idea — sends out automated review requests — but with their own twist.

Comparison

  1. UX & Ease of Use: both are no-brainers. Click and done.
  2. Tool integration: Helium 10 Seller Assistant was part of the whole H10 suite. Jungle Scout’s is a bit more standalone.
  3. Marketplace coverage: Seller Assistant = only US. Jungle Scout’s = works globally.

Review

Helium 10 Seller Assistant was one of those tools that did one job and did it damn well. I used it on multiple accounts and it saved me hours of manually clicking “Request a Review” in Seller Central. The integration with the rest of Helium 10 was a big bonus — it felt like just another piece of the big H10 machinery.

The only drawback? It’s no longer available. But if you’re already using Helium 10, the Follow-Up module is more than enough to take over. And if you’re not… why aren’t you? 😜 (remember, I’m a Helium 10 Partner and guest writer — not biased, just experienced).

Pros

  • Super easy to use — one click review requests
  • Bulk request feature saved hours of work
  • 100% Amazon TOS compliant
  • Integrated with the Helium 10 Suite

Cons

  • Only worked for Amazon US
  • No longer available (RIP 🪦)
  • No scheduling or segmentation features like in Follow-Up
